What stays on your device

Draft invoices, pay handles you asked us to remember, theme choice, and (on Pro) saved invoice history and saved line items live in this browser or phone app profile (local storage / IndexedDB). If you arrive from a tagged link, we store those tags on this device so a later Pro checkout can show which poster sent you. Clearing site data, switching browsers, or reinstalling the app can erase that local list. That is why Pro+ sync exists.

What we store if you pay

Stripe processes Duebill Pro and Pro+ subscription payments only — not job payouts. Stripe receives the card and billing details needed to charge the plan. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

Pro+ adds a login. We use Supabase to store your account and the invoices / saved items you sync so another device can open them. We shrink job photos and logos so they can sync. If a file is still too large, it stays on the device that captured it. A job date you type is stored with that invoice. Calendar files you download stay on your phone.

Phone apps

If you install a Duebill app from the App Store or Google Play, that app loads useduebill.com in a native shell. Local Pro history in Safari or Chrome is not the same storage as the app’s WebView. Use Pro+ if you need one list on every device.

Hosting

The website is hosted on common web infrastructure (currently Vercel). Standard server logs (IP, user agent, pages requested) may exist for security and reliability. We do not sell your invoice contents as a data product.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) when it is turned on, to see which pages and tagged links people use. Google may set cookies. The invoice editor still works if you block it.
